Get relevant HSA information straight to your inbox + a bonus!
Unlike us, we know that your Health Savings Account isn’t always on your mind. However, we have seen the problems arise when people forget about their HSA: missed contribution deadlines, excessive contributions, misuse of the Last Month Rule, non-qualified withdrawals. We want to help you prevent these situations from occurring to you by sending you an (at most) monthly newsletter about your HSA.
We plan to include:
- Reminders – we don’t want you to forget about critical dates and actions relating to your HSA that can cost you money. Thus, at the top of the newsletter we will provide a summary of key dates and actions for your HSA that need to be taken soon.
- Best practices – we will provide three relevant, recent articles that discuss how best to utilize your HSA. These may help you get more out of your HSA, lower your taxes,
or increase your contributions.
- HSA news –these plans change yearly and we want you to be the first to know. We will update and condense information for you about Contribution Limits, HDHP definitions,
and Form 8889 changes so that you don’t find any surprises come tax time.
Note – I, for one, am sacred about my inbox and despise spammers. Thus, I pledge to never spam or share your email with anyone. You will get an email at most once a month with high quality content relevant to your HSA’s. This isn’t one of those things where you sign up and they start emailing you every day (I frankly don’t have time for that). If you ever change your mind, you can easily unsubscribe from any email or personally inform me to remove you by emailing at email@example.com.
As a thank you, when you sign up you will be sent our Top 10 HSA Tips. This contains our top 10 recommendations for things you should be doing for your HSA now, in concise email form. Consider it a checklist of best practices that you can adopt for your own Health Savings Account, with detailed discussion of the “why” and “how” they can be implemented. This is a thank you from the HSA team!.
